Social entrepreneur Adam Bradford launched his first business aged 14 as part of a business competition whilst studying at secondary school. The business, which created educational products for teachers, became a success and his team picked up a number of awards for their work.

This entrepreneurial spark was well and truly lit and Adam went on to gain a place at the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy and turned down his University offers to continue in business.

Over time, Adam has worked with a number of the world’s largest non-profit organisations and initiatives focused on developing start ups and growing social enterprises; including as part of the world’s largest fund for youth social entrepreneurs and with dozens of organisations across the globe, particularly in the Commonwealth.

Adam is a recipient of the Queen’s Young Leader award, named as ‘One To Watch: Top 10 Entrepreneurs of 2023’ and is an ambassador for One Young World. He is also a fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society and a Friend of the Society. He was part of the founding advisory board of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, a charity dedicated to carrying on the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s leadership and her commitment to inspiring social change, especially through young people.
