Ringing us into the new year, AdamStart – the leading platform providing mentorship and opportunities to young social entrepreneurs, has announced its Advisory Board from January 2022.
Chair of the board Adam Bradford welcomes serial entrepreneur and media and gaming industry executive Paul Foster and inspirational social entrepreneur Stanley Anigbogu to the team whilst Ryan Bradford, Walid Ijassi and vice-president Dr Ishmael Dodoo maintain their positions.
Adam Bradford chairing the Board is a Queen’s Young Leader and founder of Adam Bradford Agency. He is the co-founder of BetProtect, a digital therapy app to support gambling addicts based on his father’s own experience, and is a One Young World ambassador. He is also a committee member of the British Business Group Dubai and Northern Emirates Future Vision Committee and special advisor to a number of non-profit organisations and enterprises.
Ryan Bradford is associate director of Adam Bradford Agency and an experienced project manager, he supports the team’s governance and compliance functions.
Dr Ishmael Dodoo is a Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General’s Office with particular overview on youth policy and the Sahel region. He is a distinguished international development expert and he is a Lloyd Africa Fellow of Oxford University.
Walid Ijassi is a social entrepreneur, founder of POMM’it which turns waste apples into usable products across Morocco and is a former AdamStart challenge winner. He is a Ford Fund Ambassador, former Enactus member and the founder of Sustain’it.
Stanely Anigbogu is a social entrepreneur from Nigeria, Diana Award recipient, CEO of Artechubs which equips young people with robotics, science, engineering and 21st century skills and is a Fellow of the African Middle Eastern Leadership project to name just a few of his accolades.
Paul Foster is the chief executive of Crucial Compliance in Gibraltar, a leading iGaming compliance and consultancy business. He is an industry veteran with previous roles as Director at GVC Holdings, Director of International Operations at United International Pictures and a number of seed investor roles. Paul is the Chairman of the Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association and he is a chartered internal auditor.
The board will convene in early 2022 to unveil the organisation’s new projects and strategy for the year including projects spanning education, the Sustainable Development Goals and youth economic empowerment.
